A long and somewhat convoluted train journey took me to Llandudno this week for the Digital Past conference, where I presented a paper on the Digital Saqqara project. This paper was weighted towards the methodological and technical approach and why the project was important for Late Period Egyptology. The paper was well received and I would like to thank the conference organisers for inviting me to speak. It was certainly a pleasure to be there and to engage with other digital scholars and professionals from a number of sectors. I am looking forward to Digital Past 2017…
